Custom Spoilers for Cars

Small cars are wonderful on the road. The gas economy is hard to beat, parking is seldom a problem and no one asks to borrow it “for moving.” The only drawback is the lightweight bodies tend to slide easier on pavement than heavier vehicles. For this reason, a spoiler helps keep the tires on the road. Car spoilers work by using the wind passing over it to push down on the tires, thus keeping them in better contact with the pavement. The drawback is drag, which slightly reduces the gas economy.

Custom car spoilers can be purchased or built for any model vehicle. Many different types and designs can be used. For regular street cars, a racing spoiler would create too much drag and look out of place. Completely different designs work on race cars. Some spoilers have lights to help when unloading the vehicle at night while others are manufactured without them. They are manufactured from different materials depending on the budget and needs of the customer.

Find a Honda civic spoiler online or at any Honda dealer. Available in colors to match the vehicle, they attach at the back of the car just over the trunk. Few people will realize it isn’t a factory part because the design allows it to blend in with the vehicle. These attach to the two-door and four-door models. For hatchbacks, the spoiler attaches at the top of the hatch at the back of the car.

Honda accord spoilers come in a variety of styles. OEM is the style closes to factory installed. The type M mid wing spoiler attaches to the bottom of the back window, and adds downforce at highway speeds for stability. The bomber wing spoiler is prominent and will attract attention, but keeps the car stable at high speeds. Wing spoilers add a racing car look to the vehicle.
